Originally published in 2000 as A Chaplain’s Companion, it has sold over 10,000 copies and remains a favorite of chaplains, hospice and social workers. It’s new eighth edition has come out under a new title of Responding with Compassion, however, it remains the same helpful information as the former A Chaplain’s Companion.

Religions included in A Chaplain’s Companion are: Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Baha’i, Native people, Sikh, Taoism and Wicca.
